SEND at Eastern Education Group
Special educational needs and disabilities – support through every stage.
We firmly believe that access to quality education is a fundamental right for everyone. That’s why we’ve merged with the best SEND provider in the region; to ensure that each and every student receives tailored support that allows them to thrive socially, academically and emotionally.
We provide a choice for students with SEND from ages five to 25, and is the most recent addition to the Eastern Education Group family.
We offers a range of specialist and alternative provisions (AP) across five special schools and two centres linked to mainstream schools. Our SEND team specialises in moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, and social, emotional, mental, and behavioural needs.
-
We provide a service to our local and regional communities which has a coherent approach to special and alternative education across Suffolk and beyond.
The Trust has a symbiotic relationship with all its schools and colleges, making sure that a continuum of specialist provision can be focused to best meet the needs of students with complex SEND/AP.Our nurturing and supportive approach and the commitment and warmth of our devoted staff helps us to achieve our vision of:
- Providing a complete and fully supported learning journey that achieves the best possible outcomes for our learners and their families
- Removing the barriers between different types of specialist education through our highly collaborative and joined-up approach
- Helping to develop well-rounded individuals with the confidence, skills and independence to progress to work and adult life
