Our community

What does our community look like?

Eastern Education Group is proud to serve the communities in the East of England, covering Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

We create connected communities by bringing together education providers, businesses, the public, and the third sector to develop skills in line with the needs of regional and national employers, whilst promoting respect and inclusivity at every touchpoint.

Keeping our communities at the heart of everything we do

The heart of any organisation lies in its sense of community, which is why we aim to unify all providers of education in our region to work together, raise aspirations and ensure a smooth transition from education to employment. Our aim is to create connected communities through:

Education

We will engage in ongoing conversations with businesses, governments, and local stakeholders to ensure our educational provision is relevant and future-proof. We will support the educational journey continuum from primary school children through to adults and lifelong learning.

Business

Our Strategic Growth and Partnerships Team will strengthen ties with community partners at all levels. By sharing knowledge, ideas, and resources we will enhance work-led education and training programmes, collaborating with local employers to drive positive social and economic change.

Public and third-sector

We will be leaders not only by driving an agenda based on aspirations and qualifications but also by ensuring that there is a coordinated approach to the practical needs of our region – such as finding solutions to community, health and social issues.

Learning culture

Our students will champion our core values of respect and equality, carrying these principles throughout their lives. To support this, we will ensure that we offer respectful and socially diverse learning communities with a shared vision for equity and inclusion. Every member of our community will also be deeply aware of their responsibility as global citizens in relation to the environment, and their role in protecting it.

Creating opportunities

We recognise that our work and impact goes beyond our classrooms. We will develop partnerships with all our stakeholders which are grounded in support and innovation, helping to overcome barriers and create opportunities for all.
