Julia has been a Trustee of Eastern Education Group since 2018, having served previously as a Governor of West Suffolk College. Karen is a member of the Sixth Form Educational Excellence Committee, Audit and Risk Management Committee and SEND Educational Excellence Committee. Karen is the Trustee lead for People. Karen is also a Director of EEG Services Ltd, a subsidiary of West Suffolk College.

Karen is a highly experienced senior HR professional and transformation leader who has led organisational development, governance and cultural change management across local government, charity and leisure sectors.
