Elton D’Souza

Chair of Governors, Chair of Trustees, Chair of Nominations and Governance Committee

Elton has been a Trustee of Eastern Education Group Trust since 2015 and a Governor at West Suffolk College since 2019. Elton is Chair of the Corporation and Trust Board and Chairs the Nominations and Governance Committee. Elton is a member of the CTEC Task and Finish Group, Finance Committee, Remuneration Committee, Resources Committee and Capital Infrastructure sub-committee.

Elton became a National Leader of Governance in 2020 and joined the Further Education Commissioner’s team of advisers, working nationally with Chairs and Boards of FE colleges subject to DfE intervention.

Elton brings extensive experience of leadership and governance, having been a senior leader at BT working with customers in finance and government.
