Alexandra Duffety

Chair of Finance Committee

Alex has been a Governor at West Suffolk College since 2022 and a Trustee of Eastern Education Group Trust since 2025. Alex is Chair of the Finance Committee and Vice Chair of the Resources Committee and is a member of the Capital Infrastructure sub-committee and CTEC Task and Finish Group.

Alex is a Chartered Accountant with experience in finance, governance and operations across the private, public and charity sectors. Alex is Director of Finance and Operations at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and previously was Chief Financial Officer at a large regional multi academy trust. Alex is also an Associate Non-Executive Director at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Alex is passionate about the power of education to help young people, their families and their communities build brighter futures. Alex brings extensive experience in financial oversight, governance development and stakeholder engagement.
