West Suffolk College and Eastern Education Group are putting the final preparations together for their 100th birthday party.
The organisation was set up back in 1925 and staff and students will be celebrating their centenary on Saturday 20 September 2025.
The occasion will take place in and around the campus based on Out Risbygate Street in Bury St Edmunds between 10am and 2pm.

Activities planned so far include live music, face painting, a bouncy castle, a scavenger hunt for kids, food trucks, a craft market and more.
Campus tours will also be on offer and to reflect on the impact of the college and group, a special archive tour and history trail is being created.
Partners include the Suffolk Regiment Museum who will be opening their doors up especially for this occasion.
Carrie Edwards is the head of marketing and brand at Eastern Education Group. Carrie said: “This is a chance for families to come along and see what the College has to offer, enjoy a free day out with the family, and celebrate a century of learning, community, and innovation. Whether you come along for the fun, the food, or the fascinating stories – this event will have something for everyone.”
