Eva studied General Art and Design at West Suffolk College before earning a BA (Hons) in Graphic and Communication Design at University Studies at West Suffolk. She joined EEG’s marketing team in 2021 as a Marketing Assistant and now oversees social media and digital campaigns across all sites.
With a strong background in design and a passion for creativity, Eva was naturally drawn to marketing, especially after discovering her interest through a campaign project she completed at university.
In addition to her role at EEG, Eva has been running her own business, known as ‘Eva G Designs’ , for the last two years, where she creates and sells illustrated prints and products. Her time at West Suffolk College played a significant role in developing both her creative skills and the confidence to pursue a career she truly loves.
What has your personal journey looked like since studying with us?
After graduating during COVID, it took me around 18 months to find a job, especially in the marketing industry. When I saw the marketing role come up at the college, I knew it was something I’d love. Studying at West Suffolk College for five years has really helped me develop my own art style and gave me the skills I needed to start my own business.

Do you have any family or friends who also studied at EEG?
My fiancé also studied at west Suffolk College, along with my younger sister and my fiancé’s younger brother.
Are there any memorable moments from your time here at EEG?
There were so many moments I loved during my time here. At college, I remember my first day and not knowing anyone on my course. I forced myself to go and talk to a group of people who remain my best friends to this day! I was always quite shy, so I was really pleased I went over and spoke to them. I also absolutely loved the trip we took in my second year to New York. I loved it there and we had a great time visiting all the attractions and going to galleries. Me and my best friends from college are planning to go back for our 30th birthdays! Also, working on the100 years project has been a highlight, I’m so glad I’ve been able to work here during the centenary as it has been such an interesting project so far.
Being a part of this project yourself, is there a message you would like to share with us as we celebrate our 100 years of history?
I’m so glad to be able to work here during such an important milestone. It has been amazing and so interesting to hear everyone’s stories and work with all the historic archives.
Lastly, do you have any advice for the future of EEG?
Enjoy your time here! Push yourself out of your comfort zone, I wouldn’t have met my friends or be where I am today if I hadn’t, and I wouldn’t have got to go on any of the amazing trips I went on while studying at West Suffolk College and University Studies.
