Karen Chapman

Chair of Audit and Risk Management Committee – West Suffolk College

Karen has been a Governor at West Suffolk College since 2022 and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. Karen is a member of the Resources Committee and CTEC Task and Finish Group. Karen is the Governor lead for People and Governor lead for Whistleblowing. Karen is also a Director of EEG Services Ltd, a subsidiary of West Suffolk College.

Karen is a qualified accountant and management consultant with over 30 years’ experience across the private sector, central and local government. Karen runs her own consultancy firm, supporting public sector clients with business planning, organisational development and governance.

Karen also serves on Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner’s Audit Committee.
