We are excited to announce that the XR Lab is now a Tranzfuser Hub, and one of only two Hubs in the whole of East Anglia! This means that we are open to supporting teams that will be engaging in Tranzfuser and will be hosting an event on the Tuesday 1 April to provide information about what to expect from the programme and how to apply. If you would like to attend this event, please register your interest using the link below.
But first – what is Tranzfuser?
Tranzfuser is a programme that supports recent graduates in establishing successful video game development studios. Launched in 2016, it has assisted hundreds of passionate developers across the UK. The programme offers teams the opportunity to develop their own game, refine professional skills, and gain insights into business development. Participants showcase their projects to the public and pitch for grants of up to £25,000 from the UK Games Fund.
What does this mean for the Eastern Education Group?
As a Tranzfuser Hub, our establishment strengthens its position as a leader in game development, offering students access to funding, mentorship, and industry connections. We showcase their talent on a national stage, foster entrepreneurship through the development of original intellectual property, and build a strong community of developers, alumni, and mentors. Additionally, our staff benefit from engaging with cutting-edge industry practices, ensuring our programmes remain innovative and relevant.
