The North Cambridgeshire Training Centre (NCTC) is a brand new facility, specialising in Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Management and Business Support Apprenticeships.
Alongside Apprenticeships, we have a fantastic range of commercial training built around short vocational courses or longer courses leading to formal qualifications. These courses are ideal for individuals who need to improve or expand their knowledge within a role.

Getting to NCTC
North Cambridgeshire Training Centre is located in Chatteris. To make access easier for learners, apprentices and local employers, we are pleased to be part of the new TIGER On Demand transport scheme.
Travel by TIGER On Demand
NCTC has been approved as a Virtual Bus Stop on the TIGER On Demand service, introduced by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority to improve travel options across the region.
TIGER On Demand is a flexible, bookable transport service that works more like a shared taxi than a standard bus. Instead of fixed routes and timetables, you can request a journey through an app or by phone, with pick up and drop off points arranged to suit your travel needs.
This makes getting to NCTC much easier if you:
do not drive
live in a rural area
have limited access to regular buses
need a more reliable way to travel to training or work
Anyone can use the service. Fares are available for all passengers, with significantly reduced costs for young people, making it a particularly affordable option for apprentices and learners.
