On Wednesday, our Secondary students at Duke of Lancaster in Norfolk took part in a highly successful in-school Futures Event, designed to help them explore a wide range of career pathways.
Students engaged in conversations with visiting professionals, asked thoughtful questions, and showed fantastic curiosity about the world of work.
We were also pleased to welcome students from Churchill Park Academy, who participated fully and benefited from the same rich experiences. Collaborative opportunities like these strengthen our sense of community and help all young people learn and thrive together.
Throughout the event, students had opportunities to:
- Explore different career sectors
- Speak directly with professionals about their roles
- Learn about training routes, apprenticeships and qualifications
- Hear real-life experiences from industry experts
- Build confidence in discussing their future goals
Staff commented on how maturely students engaged with each stall, and how they demonstrated strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for learning about their next steps.
Thank you to our stall holders
