Engineering students set to benefit with learning boost from donated bespoke hydraulic rig

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Des Aves and Nathan Lister of Hose Van, a hydraulic hose repair company based in Bressingham, for their incredible generosity and hard work in supporting the engineering department at West Suffolk College.

Des and Nathan have voluntarily designed and built a bespoke hydraulic rig for our students, providing them with an invaluable resource to improve their technical and practical understanding. This rig will not only enhance the learning experience but also inspire the next generation of engineers by giving them hands-on opportunities to develop key skills for their future careers.

The time, effort, and expertise that Des and Nathan have poured into this project truly reflect their passion for supporting education and their commitment to the community. Their contribution will have a lasting impact on our students, empowering them with the tools and confidence needed to excel in the engineering field.

From everyone at West Suffolk College, we want to say a massive thank you to Hose Van for their generosity and belief in the importance of fostering young talent. Your support is deeply appreciated and will make a difference for years to come.
