Now Programme Lead for Level 2 Psychology and Health, she teaches subjects such as health psychology, psychopathology, and sociology – an area she is very passionate about.

Throughout her time at the College, Laura has valued the supportive culture and opportunities for growth. She also completed a Master’s in Education Studies to further enhance her teaching practice.

What led you to choose Eastern Education Group?

I wanted to teach the subjects I love – Health and Social Care, Psychology and Sociology – and West Suffolk College was the perfect place to do that.

What are you currently doing, and in what way did your experience with us contribute to that?

I’m Programme Lead for Level 2 Psychology and Health. My time here, along with completing my Master’s, has really shaped my career and confidence as an educator.

Are there any highlights from your career so far?

Being part of the team that achieved Outstanding with Ofsted was a real highlight.

As we celebrate 100 years, what message would you like to share?

It’s amazing to think I’ve been here for nearly a fifth of that time!

Any advice for future students and staff?

You’ll thrive here – believe in yourself and make the most of every opportunity.
