Dylan attended West Suffolk College in 2012- 2013, where he completed an Extended National Diploma in Business Studies. With a strong passion for business and particular interest in accountancy, the course was perfect for him. Following his course, he pursued a degree in accountancy and finance at Durham University and received his professional chartered qualification. Currently, he works as a chartered accountant at a local firm and has recently been promoted to client portfolio manager.
What made you feel that West Suffolk College was the right choice for you?
I really admired the independence at West Suffolk College. After leaving secondary school, I chose not to go to sixth form as I knew what I wanted to specialise in, therefore it made sense. Ultimately, the decision to attend college proved to be highly beneficial, as it enabled me to go to a really good University.
Are there any relations you have who attended West Suffolk College?
My twin brother also attended the college, and it’s where I met my wife-to-be – though I didn’t know it at the time!
Lastly, what is one piece of advice you would give to future students and staff at EEG?
In simple terms – enjoy it while it lasts!
